“The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct. ”
The “3-Way Hip” lesson can be finding connections, collecting variations to create a more complete understanding of the body. It’s also a fundamental lesson to return to regularly, as the subtleties of connection continually reveal themselves.
In this lesson, the collector is delighted by as many variations on a theme as she can discover. The storyteller then winds all the elements together into a narrative that she can retell herself, and others, to get back to that magical destination.
Tell it like it is!
In the “Shades of Play” spirit, we will begin with the Collector, and then put it all together as the Story teller. The other play types might also make appearances: make it light like the Joker, smooth like the Kinesthete, clearly intended like the Director, or focused as the Competitor, curious like the Explorer or expressive like the artist.
